When a conversation helps

For the decisions
that matter.

You don’t need to arrive with a technical specification. Start with what needs to work better.

01

Before you invest

Make sense of a new website, software purchase or technology change before committing time and money.

02

When work gets complicated

Review repeated data entry, disconnected tools and awkward handovers that slow your team down.

03

When you need another view

Work through proposals, technical choices or security concerns with someone who can explain the tradeoffs.

Where we can help

See the whole picture.
Choose what matters.

We agree the systems, questions and depth of review for your brief. The recommendations should reflect your business and its constraints.

01

Website & digital strategy

Review your audience, content and enquiry journey. Decide where a redesign or a focused improvement could help.

02

Technology selection

Compare systems against your needs, budget, ownership requirements and the work involved in maintaining them.

03

Security planning

Understand the risks and responsibilities around your systems. Prioritise improvements and identify where specialist testing is needed.

04

Software & integrations

Define the workflows, data and connections a custom application or integration needs before development begins.

05

Systems & process reviews

Map how work moves through your business. Identify duplicated effort, unclear ownership and gaps between tools.

06

Delivery & handover planning

Plan phases, dependencies and responsibilities for a technology change, including migration, editing and ongoing support.

Your next step, made clearer

Advice you can
put to work.

Useful consultancy leaves you with something to act on. We agree the outputs upfront, from a focused decision brief to a wider improvement roadmap.

A practical decision pack

A clear current picture
The relevant systems, workflows, constraints and open questions.

Options & tradeoffs
Approaches to compare, with their costs, dependencies and maintenance implications.

Priorities & a roadmap
Recommended actions, sequencing and responsibilities for the next stage.

A brief you can take forward
Share the agreed recommendations with your team, an existing provider or us.

How we approach it

A clear question.
A considered answer.

The depth of work depends on the decision you’re making. We agree scope, fees and access before the review begins.

01

Define the question

Clarify the business need, the people affected and the information needed to make a decision.

02

Review & compare

Examine the agreed evidence and options. Explain assumptions, risks and the limits of the review.

03

Recommend a way forward

Discuss the findings and hand over the agreed brief or roadmap, with priorities and open decisions.

Scope & fees

Know what you’re
commissioning.

Fees depend on the systems involved, the information available and the depth of review. We agree the deliverables and price before work starts.

Make the engagement clear

The question & boundaries
What is being reviewed and what falls outside the engagement.

Access & responsibilities
Who supplies information, joins discussions and approves any access.

Outputs & next steps
The agreed deliverables, review process and any follow-up.

Consultancy can stand alone. Implementation and ongoing support are quoted separately.

Before we begin

A few useful answers.

Can we use the advice without hiring you to build it?

Yes. We agree a useful written output that you can take forward with your team or another provider. Any implementation work with us is a separate decision and quote.

Can you review a system another provider built?

Yes. We confirm ownership, available documentation and authorised access first. The review focuses on the questions and systems agreed in the brief.

Do we need to know the technical solution already?

No. Explain what your business needs, what is getting in the way and any constraints. We can help turn that into a clearer set of requirements and options.

Will you need access to our systems?

That depends on the review. We agree what information and access are necessary before starting, and arrange a suitable way to share them. Please don’t send passwords in an initial enquiry.

Does consultancy include security testing or implementation?

Only when explicitly included in an agreed scope. Penetration testing, system changes and ongoing care are separate engagements unless your proposal specifies otherwise.

Which decision are you weighing up?

Tell us what you’re considering, the tools you use and what needs to improve. A short description is enough to start.
